I am proposing a new form of public discipline, “time outs” for adults. Yesterday, I was checking out at Kohls when I noticed that the woman in front of me was making quite a scene. Kohls has their scratch off tickets where you can save between 15 and 30 percent off of your entire order. This wonderful specimen of humanity wasn’t happy with the single ticket and was insisting that the cashier run up each item separately so that she could get 5 scratch off tickets for her 5 items.
