Aaron Sorkin wrote an article on the Huffington Post titled, “In Her Defense, I’m Sure the Moose Had It Coming”. I don’t normally get offended by left wing rants but, this article is nothing more than an excuse for Mr. Sorkin to comment on his hate for Sarah Palin.

I don’t necessarily care what Mrs. Palin does, nor do I believe that she is electable. She suffers from the same problem as most politicians; a need to point out everyone else’s faults rather than lead on her principles. Americans really aren’t that stupid. Mr. Obama suffers from the same problem. Even after a couple of years, he is quick to place the blame on George Bush. Just how long can this continue before he takes responsibility for what happens during his tenure.

There are tens of thousands of haters in the world. Does Mr. Sorkin really need to play this card for a laugh? While railing on Sarah Palin, Aaron Sorkin does a fantastic job of telling every hunter or meat processor that they are idiots. He argues that Sarah killed a Moose on her Learning Channel series: Palin’s Alaska only to win voters. Apparently this was a political move. I don’t argue that the show was a big part of the hunt. However, the hunt itself still is a normal part of life for many people who live in Alaska and other rural areas.

What Mr. Sorkin doesn’t get it is that Americans are completely desensitized to our food processing. All of our meat comes wrapped up in cute little containers that doesn’t usually resemble anything like an animal. The bottom line is someone has to kill those animals for you to eat them. We all pay for little hit men to take care of the dirty work so we don’t get our hands dirty. The hunters left in America are fully aware of the consequences when they kill an animal. They are directly tied to its life. They are on the front lines of conservation efforts to ensure that these beautiful animals are around for future generations.

Coming from a family with several vegetarians, I am proud of the fact that they chose a path that matches their distaste for animals being killed. Sarah was right, even if her comment was premature. If you are using products that come from animals, then at least educate yourself on how those products get to you.

Mr. Sorkin you are no different than Sarah Palin. By offering this profanity, hate filled article, you, yourself have become the hater.

Ann Coulter, crazy woman.

Why is it that the Republicans have all of the crazy people? I suppose that isn’t true, but when you are a Republican, they seem to stand out. Ann Coulter’s entire persona seems to be based on being crazy and confrontational. Even when she has a point, she spits it out with such venom that no one would dare listen to her.

Sadly, I am sure that many people do listen to her. Her latest book blames almost all of the world’s problems on single mothers. Ann, how can you be serious?

Why is it that intelligent/crazy people want to blame a result instead of looking at a cause. As a parent, I would never ever encourage someone to be a parent alone. It is hard and trying with multiple adults, but I really doubt that many single mothers decided one day to get pregnant and raise a child on their own. For those women that did decide to raise children on their own, the vast majority of them I would venture have other resources and most of all money to help with the gaps in raising a child alone. For those women that did fall into a situation where they unexpectedly became single mothers, many manage to raise healthy happy children.

Sorry, Ann, but you’re nuts. And frankly, suggesting that all single mothers are democrats insults me. Although, if they get a taste of you, I wouldn’t blame them.

Pretty scary stuff. Just for the record, I am seriously disgusted with my fellow Republicans.

Lots of B.S. from the entire House of Representatives. Nancy Pelosi gives me headaches. Whining Republicans, complaining about her speech. Are you serious? How old are you? Did you still cry when you don’t get your way. Tantrums from those people assigned to run our country. Great help. Thanks guys and gals.

And a note to John McCain, let Sarah be herself. You are setting her up for a cataclysmic failure during her debate. Debate camp at the McCain’s… yeah that should relax her. She is so likable because she is like the rest of us. She seems above the day to day Washington crap. Let her be herself and she will be fine. Stop answering her questions. She really can talk all by herself. You are portraying that you don’t trust her. Not a good way to win supporters.

Hillary Clinton has released her new 3:00am ad.

My first question is; why release another version of an ad that was already ridiculed? Is the creative staff for the Clinton campaign so tired that they can’t come up with anything better or different?

After seeing the second 3:00am ad, my second question is; are you serious? The second 3:00am ad asks what would the president do if someone called at 3:00am to discuss the latest problem, economics. Yes, you read that right, Hillary has someone on her staff calling her at 3:00am to discuss economics. She wants you to know that John McCain wouldn’t pick up the phone. Please. John McCain wouldn’t pick up the phone if he had Hillary’s apparently incompetent staff. Who in the world would think to call the President of the United States at 3:00am to discuss home foreclosures?

This ad is one of the worst. Granted I am not exactly Hillary’s biggest fan, I find this ad embarrassing. I just cannot fathom how this ad is supposed to make me feel good that she would be the one to answer the call.
