Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Surprisingly, little is known of St. Patrick. He is the patron saint of Ireland but was born British. One thing is for certain, St. Patrick has come to be the pivotal figure in the United States when considering all things Irish. St. Patrick’s Day is the day for even those of non-Irish ancestry to celebrate the traditions of Ireland. In 2006 a survey reported that 12% of Americans are of Irish decent. That is almost 36 million people!
