I haven’t done thrusters with any real weight lately. I have been using them as substitutes for wallball which requires almost no weight, so today would be different. I started with 95lbs as that is a common weight for a lot of WODs. My weights were 95, 115, 135, 155, 165. Not bad for me. The cool part is that the 165 was a fairly heavy weight for me to front squat but in a thruster you don’t really think about getting out of the bottom. All of my focus was on thinking about whether I could push this thing over my head.
Negative pullups sting but I do believe that they are helping with my normal pullups. I’m going to have to get around to doing a max rep set to see where I am at. Jump rope also continues to improve. The last set was for 2 minutes since I was feeling good. Calves were burning fairly good by the end but I made it through the set.

Two mile run after way too much dinner. Love our neighbors but tonight wasn’t a good night for diets or exercise.
Thursday – Sunday
To be honest, I can’t remember. I am just now getting back to the computer after the weekend and I’m not sure I did a lot of anything.
